Aliene Flewelling, a beloved grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 in Lawton, IA.

Aliene was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County, settling in Kingsley to farm alongside her husband. She was a proud and active member of the Pilot Rock Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution for many years, where she shared her love of history within her community. She will be remembered for her kindness, sharp wit, and her unwavering support of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister, Merilyn Horstmann, her grandson Joshua Flewelling, and her two granddaughters and their spouses, Lindsey and Mark Wiemer, and Wendy and Alex Brown.
