Charles Edward Reinking age 80, of Kingsley died February 10, 2025 at Kingsley Specialty Care in Kingsley, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday February 15, 2025 at First Lutheran Church of Kingsley, IA with Pastor Jason Letsche officiating. Visitation will be Friday February 14, 2025, at Kingsley Funeral Home and Monument/Rhode Funeral Home with family present Friday 5-7 with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Charles Reinking was born January 21, 1945, the son of Emmert and Shirley (Ashley) Reinking at Kingsley, Iowa. He was raised on the farm south of Kingsley, receiving his early education from country school, Pierson from 4th through 10th and graduating from Kingsley-Pierson in 1963.

On August 23, 1964 Charlie married Diane Saunders at First Lutheran Church in Kingsley. At that time Charlie worked for Adair Countryman on a farm. He then worked with his father and brother and eventually his two sons on the same farm for nearly 58 years.

He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Kingsley, where he served in many capacities including singing at many weddings and funerals . He was also a member of the Farmers Elevator Coop board of Pierson, Pierson Town and Country and Woodbury County Fair Board, he was a Rutland Township Trustee.

In his spare time he enjoyed attending musical and sporting events of his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed playing cards, fishing and golfing.

Survivors include his wife Diane of 60 years, Children Jeff (Molly) Reinking of Kingsley, Kevin (Susan) Reinking of Kingsley, Kim (Jay) Juelfs of Correctionville, Jill (Kyle) Bobolz of Kingsley, Grandchildren; Shelby (Brian) Burken of Omaha, Charlie, Abby and Joe Reinking of Kingsley, Emily (Dustin) Stieneke of Correctionville, Katie (Branson) Jorgensen of Pierson; Madelyne (Nik) Brimeyer of Battle Creek, Colin Juelfs of Correctionville, Paige and Casey Bobolz of Kingsley, Great Grand Children Ashley and Elden Burken and Micah Brimeyer. Sister Deanna (Millard) Collins of Florida.; Brother Louis (Norma) Reinking of Missouri; In-laws Roger (Sophia) Saunders of Ariz. and Linda (Stan) Jaacks of Ariz.

 Charlie was preceded in death by his parents Emmert and Shirley and his grandparents. And in-laws; Dwight and Phyllis Saunders and brothers-in-law Doug and Tommy Saunders.

Casket Bearers will be Charlie Reinking, Joe Reinking, Colin Juelfs, Casey Bobolz, Branson Jorgensen, Nik Brimeyer, Dustin Stieneke.
