David Carl Bainbridge, 73, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.David was born February 6, 1943, in Kingsley, Iowa, the son of the late Carl and Charlotte (Graham) Bainbridge. He was raised and educated in Kingsley, graduating in 1961 from Kingsley High School.On December 23, 1961, he married Karen Fokken at the Brethren Church in Kingsley. They ran a local business together for several years.David loved going to his place at Okoboji spending time boating and fishing. He was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and had a great love of the outdoors.In addition to his wife, Karen, he leaves a son, Darryl Bainbridge of Kingsley, a daughter and son-in-law, Darla (Jeff) Weiler of Remsen, two granddaughters, Cassie and Tessa, a sister, Joyce (Bainbridge) Conry of Orange City and several nieces and nephews.David is preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Delmar Bainbridge and Colleen (Bainbridge) Forbes.
