Maxine was born December 21, 1923, December 21, 1923, Castana, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Ellen (Erlandson) Bowers. She married Vincent "Vince" March January 8, 1945, Sioux City, Iowa. After their marriage Maxine and Vince made their home in Kingsley, Iowa, where they raised their family. Maxine owned and operated a beauty shop in Kingsley for 52 years. Survivors include four daughters, Dixie Walker of Kingsley, IA, Dianna (Robert) Anderson of Orange, CA, Cathy (Ken) Echevarri of Denver, CO, Jody (Lane) Danielzuk of Gering, NE; two sons, Brad (Barb) March and Lance March of Kingsley, IA, a daughter-in-law, Pat Flynn of Kingsley, IA, 23 grandchildren, Tara Flewelling, Mikelle Flewelling, Travis (Amy) Flewelling, Deidra (Mark) Bowman, Daina (Josh) DiMaggio, Ryan Pawlowski, Jason (Melinda) Stough, Jonna (Shawn) Downs, Jenna (Joshua) Siemer, Erin (Jake) Muecke, Toby (Tammy) Wright, Bobbie (Sean) Olmstead,, Andy (Brandi) Wright, Jackie March, Grace March, Samantha March, JoAnn (Terrence) Merry, John Roling, Traun March, Trevor (Niki) March, T.J. March,Traci (Marti) Poston, Trisha Lewis, 31 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews.Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vincent "Vince", son, Robert "Bob" James March and two sisters, Louise and Geneieve.
