Roxanne M. Jessen, 63, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Kingsley, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Roxanne leaves behind her children Angela, Bill, Nick and Meghan, their families including six grandchildren, and her sister Brenda Herthel and Brenda's children and grandchildren.Roxanne is preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Eleanore Jessen, and brother, James Jessen.Her life was celebrated by her family in a small private memorial Saturday, November 12, 2016. Her family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations instead be made to charities helping women and children such as Assure Women's Center( https://assureomaha.com/) or Lydia House (https://opendoormission.org/), two charities that Roxanne regularly supported.
